Tasting Note

THE NED PINOT NOIR

An expressive aura of wild berries and blackcurrants encapsulate within the glass, with undertones of clove and cinnamon. Full-bodied and black fruit driven on the palate, this wine boasts supple tannins with notes of spicy French oak and resolved acidity drawing to a juicy, lengthy finish.

FOOD MATCHING

This concentrated fruit driven style of Pinot Noir will be the perfect accompaniment to your favourite red meat dishes. Try alongside braised beef short rib croquettes on a bed of béchamel sauce. For a vegetarian option, try with a fried vegetable halloumi stack with fresh capsicums and portobello mushrooms.

CELLARING POTENTIAL

Crafted to be enjoyed within 3-5 years of vintage date.

LEEFIELD STATION PINOT NOIR

The lively notes of red berries, subtle florals and a touch of mocha define the nose of our Leefield Station Pinot Noir. The
palate is soft and juicy, the natural fruit sweetness and soft acidity are well balanced with the silky tannins to finish in an elegant style of Marlborough Pinot Noir.

FOOD MATCHING

Roasted pork, lamb or duck will pair wonderfully with this Pinot Noir, accompanied by roasted potatoes, mushrooms and spring vegetables.

CELLARING POTENTIAL

Crafted to be enjoyed within 3 – 5 years of vintage date.

KINGS SERIES PINOT NOIR

Rich and inviting aromas of black doris plum and cassis are laced with lifted florals and a dash of mocha. The elegant palate holds a fine-grained tannin structure which intertwines with notes of forest berries. The wine finishes intensely with a lingering supple midpalate that harmonises with the juicy Marlborough
acidity.

FOOD MATCH

Highly versatile, this wine matches well to gamey meats, mushrooms as well as rich fish such as tuna or trout. We recommend enjoying The Kings Series Pinot Noir with a herb crusted rack of lamb nestled in creamy mashed potato with a port jus.

CELLARING POTENTIAL

Up to 10 years.
