100% Gewurztraminer.
WINEMAKING
Sourced from a warm river terrace at Leefield Station, this fruit achieved optimum ripeness before being harvested in the cool of the morning.
A small amount skin contact prior to pressing has helped contribute to the floral intensity of this wine.
Cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks retains crispness, and selected yeast strains elevate the expression of both the nose and the palate. A portion of this wine was subsequently aged on light lees in large-format oak post-fermentation, which has added complexity to the aromatics and mouthfeel.

VINTAGE
The 2026 growing season delivered a dynamic yet ultimately rewarding vintage for Marlborough. Following a wet, mild winter, vines entered a warm, sunny spring with ample soil moisture and minimal frost pressure, driving strong early growth and one of the fastest progressions from budburst to flowering on record.
A timely return to cooler conditions around flowering helped moderate fruit set, resulting in balanced yields and improved bunch architecture. Summer brought cooler-than-average temperatures alongside a notably wet January, replenishing soil moisture and supporting berry development without compromising vine health.
February provided the ideal ripening window; warm, sunny, and largely dry — allowing fruit to reach optimal flavour maturity.
Harvest commenced earlier than usual and progressed efficiently, concluding after a concentrated finish in April. Overall, 2026 can be considered a high-quality vintage, offering excellent
varietal expression, vibrancy, and balance.

Marlborough Wine Show 2025 : Trophy
Cameron Douglas MS: 94 Points. "Delicious, youthful, ripe, fresh and new. Aromas and flavours of red and pink apples, green pear and exotic fruits, laced with a wasabi heat and floral quality. A silky touch on the palate, with acidity and spice layer accentuating citrus and pomaceous fruit peel flavours, fresh apple and pear, then white pineapple. Well made, dry on the finish and ready to drink from day of purchase through 2030."
