TASTING NOTE

Highly aromatic, the nose shows unmistakable tropical aromas of guava and gooseberry with a slight hint of granny smith apple. The palate is crisp with fresh flavours of kiwifruit, white peach and honeydew which are supported by a tight citrus acidity.

FOOD MATCHING

Try our Fernlands Sauvignon Blanc with scallops sautéed in garlic butter with a crunchy green salad. Or a tangy, and creamy goat cheese with rocket salad doused in a light dressing of balsamic vinegar will pair perfectly with this wine.

WINEMAKING

Sauvignon Blanc fruit was harvested at optimal ripeness, pressed and cold settled. Juice was inoculated with specific yeast strains that enhance the varietal intensity followed by a long, cool fermentation to encourage the development of tropical notes. The wine was bottled early to promote freshness.
