Harbour Hospice's largest annual fundraiser, Vintners' Brunch, is always a memorable affair. But at this year's event, held at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland, it was guest speaker Gabrielle Anstiss who made it an unforgettable event!
The Vintners Brunch is an exclusive food and wine matching event which is help annually, bringing foodies and wine connoisseurs together to enjoy and celebrate some of Auckland's best restaurants and New Zealand's world-class wineries.
In it's 26th year, Vintner's Brunch is a flagship fundraiser for Harbour Hospice, with tickets often selling out before the ink has even dried! The event sees over 400 guests enjoying the privilege of sampling stunning New Zealand wines, matched perfectly to dishes created by top Auckland restaurants.
This year Marisco was paired up with Café Hanoi, they created a NZ Wagyu beef tartare, pickled chili, black vinegar, potato hash, soy butter and coriander oil, matching beautifully with our Leefield Station Pinot Noir 2021.
We didn't come away with the winning pairing... but Harbour Hospice managed to raise over $370,000 so we take that as a massive win!
