On 22nd May, Siobhan and Georgia from the Leefield Station team headed to Hamilton to attend the Outstanding Food Producer Awards 2024 Winner Dinner at Palate. Leefield Station is the proud sponsor of the OFPA for 2024 and we enjoyed celebrating the delicious, award winning products from NZ’s talented food and drink producers in a four-course dinner created by Palate Chef, Mat MacLean, with each dish paired with a Leefield Station wine and Emerson’s Beer. Each dish and beverage pairing was judged but the audience of 40 attendees to decide whether the beer or wine was a better match – no easy task! In the end, wine and beer tied with Emerson’s taking out the starter and dessert and Leefield Station winning the pairings for the salmon and lamb mains.
