That’s why we’re so proud to once again sponsor the Outstanding Food Producer Awards, celebrating the remarkable talent and tireless effort behind New Zealand’s finest produce.
Now in its eighth year, these awards shine a spotlight on the country’s top producers — from boutique butchers and artisanal gelato makers to seafood specialists and innovative beverage creators. This year, over 250 entries were put to the test by a panel of expert judges, including our very own Siobhan Wilson (GM of Sales & Marketing, and the results were nothing short of inspiring.

These awards speak to our deep respect for producers who commit to quality, innovation, and craft — the ones who, like us, give everything they’ve got and hold nothing back.
2025 Supreme Champion
The title of Leefield Station Supreme Champion was awarded to Matangi’s 30–45 Day Dry Aged Sirloin Steak Cutlet. The judges described it as “cuts like butter. Tender, juicy, melt-in-the-mouth. Unbelievable flavour. Exquisite.” A true celebration of premium New Zealand beef, this product embodies what it means to strive for perfection.
2025 Dairy Champion
The Leefield Station Dairy Champion went to Island Gelato Co’s Summer Bombe Alaska Cake. Judges were wowed by its showstopping appearance and deliciously layered flavours, calling it “total WOW factor for a special occasion… great surprise on the base, pop!”
