Bluff Oyster Festival

Wine and seafood have always gone hand in hand and so it was a privilege to be at the Oyster Festival in chilly Bluff to join 5,000 consumers enjoying tasty Bluff Oysters, every which way, with The Ned wines. There were deep fried oysters, bloody mary oysters, crayfish, whitebait fritters, blue cod sliders, a South Island vs North Island kina competition and of course oysters au naturelle with a squeeze of lemon. With all that wonderful seafood, The Ned Sauvignon Blanc slid down a treat! And despite our NZ Sales Manager, Scotty, not loving raw oysters, Siobhan managed to get him to do a Bloody Mary Oyster shot! Although, many other punters enjoyed this, it is fair to say that he will be sticking to his deep-fried oysters going forward… Thanks to the amazing organizers and talented producers for pulling together a fantastic event.
