Set across the working vineyard and farmland of Leefield Station, this unique off-road cycling event is a celebration of gravel riding, good people, great food and wine, and the wide-open beauty of Marlborough.
In 2026, we’re thrilled to introduce a Fun Ride category, making Grape & Gravel more inclusive than ever. Whether you’re racing hard, riding steady, or simply keen to be part of the atmosphere, there’s a place for you on the start line.
Expect challenging and rewarding gravel routes, vineyard views, and a finish-line experience that’s distinctly Leefield Station — with BBQ, coffee, wine tastings and time to relax and refuel with friends. Nothing by halves!

At the heart of the action is the Village Green, the hub of race day. Here you’ll find great coffee, hearty BBQ, Leefield Station wine tastings, and entertainment — the perfect place for supporters to gather and for riders to relax and celebrate after crossing the finish line.
